Second generation of the Gorf Manufacturing/Contracting Ltd. with a degree in Applied Arts and Technology in Civil Engineering Technologist and over 35 years of experience, Mark Norkum has committed his time and dedication to Gorf and all of its success. In early October 1971 Mark became an employee at Gorf mentoring under his father and Gorf’s founder Alfie Norkum. In 1982 Mark was appointed President. With his famous words, “hard work gets results,” Mark has paved the way for Gorf, and has grown the company exponentially. Father to 3 and Papa to 9, Mark has mastered the work/family life balance.

Bradley Norkum BSC is the 3rd generation C.E.O of Gorf Manufacturing/Contracting Ltd. Influenced from his grandfather (Alfie) and Father (Mark), Brad is proud to lead and work amongst his electrifying management team that has over 250 years of combined industry experience and knowledge. Having been brought up in the company, Brad understands the essential establishment of a strong foundation, and he continues to strive forward with the same principals as the 2 generations before him. To ensure success for future generations, the growth of Gorf is Brad’s priority. Husband to his American wife (met at Westfield Sate University, MA) and father to their 2 children and dog Luna, Brad emits hard work, passion and dedication to both his company and family life. Backed by a great team at the office and at home, Brad will continue to grow Gorf to its fullest potential.
Stephane Boucher – Senior Estimator

With 27 years of experience, 7 of those as a welder fitter on the shop floor, Steph has been a key factor to the success of Gorf. Holding diplomas in civil/mining as well as millwright & shop experience, Stephan helps the Gorf Team from the starting bid and helps see the projects all the way through. Big or small we do it all. Outside of work Stephan enjoys spending time with family, outdoors, and camping.
Reg Sasseville – Superintendent

Born and raised in Porcupine, Reg Sasseville is happy to have joined the Gorf team at an early age. With over 30 years of experience and education (B.A., Hoisting Engineer) Gorf is lucky to have him as our Superintendent. He provides skills, planning and trouble shooting to all sectors of the industry. Outside of work Reg enjoys spending time with his wife, two kids, grandson, and enjoys all that mother nature has to offer.

Jeremy is originally from Kingston Ontario. While completing the Welding Engineering Technologist program at Northern College in Kirkland Lake he met his wife and moved with her to Timmins. At the time Gorf had an opening for a Quality Control Manager for their DeBeers Victor Tank Fabrication Project. It was clear that Jeremy was an asset and was appointed to the Quality Control Manager position for all projects. Jeremy has been with the company for 16 years and over that time has worn many “hats” from Quality Manger, Health and Safety Coordinator, Junior Estimator, and is now the Shop Operations Manager. Some of his certifications include Welding Engineering Technologist (W.E.T.), Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T. – through OACETT), National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO – through IHSA). Jeremy participates in the local Timmins Labour Management Committee where the committee discusses local and provincial health and safety issues in the fabrication and construction industry. Jeremy also manages Gorf’s participation in the WSIB’s Health and Safety Excellence Program.

With over 26 years of experience Liza McKay holds the Gorf office together. As our Office Administrator she maintains all office services such as AP’s, AR’s, prepares payroll, and manages all incoming communication. Liza holds a variety of certificates and experience that has molded her into the reliable employee she is today. Liza moved to Canada in 1991 from the Philippines. We are lucky to have Liza as part of our Gorf family.
